Early in her documentary career Roz served as Associate Producer for the Academy-Award winning documentary feature, "BROKEN RAINBOW" about the Hopi/Navajo land dispute, and created the indigenous participatory media project with the Tibetan Bonpo. He has been a strong advocate for the study of psychoactive materials in spiritual and nontraditional healing practices for many years. He sits on the board of both The Heffter Research Institute and The Multi-Disciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies. He further sits on the board of COSM, supporting the visionary art work of Alex Grey. Mr. Barnhart is active caring for the well being of our planet's environment

Brady Dial has been developing and producing film projects in Austin – and beyond – since 2001. Prior to A New Understanding, he traveled to Russia and Kazakhstan to produce the award-winning documentary Man on a Mission, chronicling the life and space launch of America’s first second-generation astronaut, Richard Garriott. He also produced the IMAX® film Ride Around the World, leading crews from Texas to six foreign countries to reveal the exciting global history of the cowboy. He has develo
